Identity & Belonging
I boarded a plane to a country just about as far from London as I could go (little did I know back then that it would become home!) – hungry for adventure. Mindset: My mother had recovered from breast cancer & this powerful reminder of life & living gave me the strongest push to take all chances
These pictures are from that time – Dragons. Drew them, carved them, painted murals of them – stage backdrops, shops, shutters, live paintings with fantastic artists & musicians – created a time lapse dragon movie (Watch here) with singer Sorcha Chisholm who I nominate next!
At a time when I was searching for identity & belonging in a new place, the dragons helped me feel at home
