“Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment.”    Divya Marie Kato’s art classes are Reggio Emilia & Montessori inspired as Divya is passionate about their approaches to education since she first started teaching.  Having taught art now for over nine years, Divya continues to conduct her art classes allowing students, both children and adults, full freedom of their imagination.  “If education is always to be conceived along the same antiquated lines of a mere transmission of knowledge, there is little to be hoped from it in the bettering of man’s future. For what is the use of transmitting knowledge if the individual’s total development lags behind?”
